The Deventer Theater is a place where the audience can come into contact with the performing arts in an attentive manner, where it can learn something and have fun. They are convinced that theater can offer insight, hope, courage and comfort by reflecting on the major questions of life and by creating human and world views.

The theater is important in life and in Deventer society. They present a broad and representative section of the Dutch performing arts offering: both top productions and mainstream offering in the large and small auditorium.
