VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM
LONDON, UK
London architects Glowacka Rennie have completely renovated the interior of the ladies’ toilets in the V&A museum in London. The design includes a black stone wall, black toilet interiors, brass taps above long narrow sinks, in a white painted interior with a very high ceiling. The whole was finished with a blue artwork by the Swiss artist Felice Varini. It is a pattern of circles that can only be seen when you look in the mirror. So if you really want to see all the art of the V&A, you will even have to visit the ladies’ toilets.
